Temperature and Time Adjustments of different DIYKey Factors to Consider: Carrier Oil: Heat tolerance: Different oils have varying smoke points. Oils with higher smoke points can generally withstand higher temperatures. Viscosity: Thicker oils may require longer infusion times to ensure thorough extraction. Botanical: Heat sensitivity: Some compounds in certain botanicals are heat-sensitive and may degrade at higher temperatures. Density: Dense botanicals may require longer infusion times to allow for complete extraction. Moisture content: Drier botanicals may require shorter infusion times compared to fresh ones. General Guidelines: Start low, go slow: Begin with a lower temperature and shorter infusion time, gradually increasing these settings as needed. Observe and adjust: Monitor the color, aroma, and taste of your infusion. Adjustments may be necessary to achieve your desired outcome. Consult resources: Refer to online communities, recipe books, or the Mufee user manual for specific guidance on different botanicals and carrier oils.
